Longing for the (Home)land
Following many conversations with immigrants, and my own personal journey, inspired me to create these works and explore the feelings, emotions and experiences that follow the immigration process. Recurring themes in these conversations were dislocation, cultural shock, longing for what was while creating what is now, a new home. I hope my story and those of other immigrants live in these works.
